Medical Annotation Tool Integration

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Student Research Assistant to join our team focused on the development and integration of plugins for existing models into 3D medical annotation tools. This role is crucial in supporting our ongoing research initiatives aimed at advancing the analysis of medical images.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate plugins to enhance our medical annotation tools with existing models.
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop new functionalities for medical imaging software.
  • Be ready to get hands dirty, including performing image annotations to support model training and refinement.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program at EPFL.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with the PyTorch library.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging software, such as 3D Slicer, is preferred.

Compensation

This is a paid position. Compensation standards can refer to EPFL Research Scholars MSc Program.
