Fethallah Benmansour

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at EPFL, working at CVLAB. In December 2009, I completed the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics and computer vision from Université Paris Dauphine. Dr. Laurent D. Cohen advised my work on biomedical image segmentation.

I received an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a M.Sc degree in Applied Mathematics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Cachan in 2004.

My research interests are in variational methods and their application to image analysis, medical and biomedical image segmentation. I'm also interested in optimization problems, and their applications like traffic congestion, landscape design and travel time tomography.
