Research interests:

  • Computer vision. Currently I am involved in recovering the shape of sails from image sequences. The project is financed by Alinghi and Hydroptere and should result to a robust and user friendly software.
  • Computation of dynamic physico-chemical processes in environmental systems. In collaboration with Prof. J Buffle from CABE, University of Geneva and Dr. J. Galceran, University of Lleida, I have developed a software called Fluxy, for computation of steady-state metal fluxes at interfaces such as microorganism or dynamic sensors.

  • High throughput DNA sequencing. As bioinformatic scientist in Manteia SA Predictive Medicine I have been involved in the development of new and revolutionary method for DNA sequencing. I have developed methods and software for large scale data and image analysis.
